San Pellegrino Pass - Fuciade Mountain Hut

This moderately difficult route passes through the Fuciade valley, which is a prime example of what is referred to as the “Dolomite landscape”, including all the features which characterize the Dolomites: gently sloping woodland and meadows, large mantles of scree and awe-inspiring bare rock faces. The Marmolada group, which is the second system of the UNESCO Dolomites and whose impressive south face is visible from here, includes the highest peaks in the World Heritage Site, the largest glacier in the Dolomites and the only limestone island in the Dolomite archipelago.
