Geological and Mining Museum of the Istituto Industriale Statale “Umberto Follador”

The mineral collection of the Mineral School “Umberto Follador” is very remarkable and important, and it reminds that the exploitation of the local mineral resource was one of the most important activities of the Agordino area until the 60s. These examples have been taken from the school and also given by private people, and they come from all over the world but also from the Agordino area: Valle Imperina, Valle di San Lucano, Colle Santa Lucia.
There are also some fossils dating back to the Mesozoic and Cenozoic Era.
All the evidence is accompanied by educational and guidance material, and in this way everyone can fully understand this collection.
