Faverghera – Nevegàl 

The viewing platform stands at a height of 1550 metres, near the Faverghera farm holiday centre and the Giardino Botanico delle Alpi Orientali (Eastern Alps Botanical Garden). It is just a 20-minute walk from the car-park at “La Casera” restaurant, along an easy path.

This is the sixth scenic terrace in the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, and the second to be built in the province of Belluno (the first was on Monte Rite). The platform is on the Alpe del Nevegàl, in the municipality of Belluno. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Belluno Dolomites and the Schiara Group, with the famous Gusela del Vescovà, symbol of the city of Belluno, in the foreground. The Vette Feltrine can be seen to the west, the peaks of Cadore to the north, and the mountains of Alpago to the east.
